 L'Université de Yaoundé I s'étend sur un vaste territoire composé de cinq campus :
- le campus principal de Ngoa-Ekelle (Rectorat et services centraux, FALSH, FS, BC, CUTI, CMS, Cité Universitaire),
- le campus excentré de Ngoa-Ekelle (ENSP, FMSB),
- le campus de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure,
- le campus de Nkolbisson (CBT),
- le campus de Mbalmayo (IUT-Bois).
